Upcoming Sensory Evaluation Course for Winemakers

Starting May 29, I will be co-teaching a new sensory course at Okanagan College in Penticton. “Sensory Evaluation in Winemaking” will be held in the new food sensory laboratory of Okanagan College, Penticton campus. The 12-hour workshop will focus on the application of sensory evaluation tools for quality control in the winery. Check the Okanagan College Spring Summer 2014 course catalog for more information.  

Winery Assistant Certificate – Wine 24  

Starting in May, I will be teaching sections of the Winery Assistant Certificate at Okanagan College, Penticton campus. Specifically, I will instruct parts of the Wine 24 module covering wine quality and safety (GWP, HACCP) as well as sensory evaluation.     

Upcoming Food and Wine Sensory Testing Services 

In addition to providing consulting services, Sirocco will be offering  food and wine sensory testing services in the coming months. Stay tuned for more details.
